My wife and I spent 3 nights here. Cost was a little beyond our budget, but we're glad we stayed. Owner and staff were very solicitous, at all hours. Old movie decor is charming. Breakfast was good and varied. Arrived mid-afternoon, and when wife mentioned she would love to go to a Colbert taping, while we were checking in the staff scored us two tickets for that night's show! Great location for Highline Park, Chelsea Market and several other great restaurants. Our suite was on the top (5th) floor with no elevator, but our experience was so good that the stairclimbin was a minor challenge.
