My husband and I spent four nights at the fabulous Chelsea Pines Inn over spring break. It was not our first time to the city but our first stay at Chelsea Pines. We both adore it, and we will most certainly be back! Our room was clean, charmingly decorated and amply spacious. It was very quiet, and we had as much privacy as we desired. The morning breakfast spread was delicious each day, and we enjoyed perusing the newsletter we found slipped under our door as we partook of the scrumptious pastries and sipped our coffee. The hospitality of the staff was the best part of our experience! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel’s proprietor, Jay. He patiently explained the amenities of the hotel and oriented us with the neighborhood. My husband mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday, and when we returned from our first outing, I discovered a dozen yellow roses and a sweet birthday greeting from Jay in our room! Jay, Daniel and the other hotel employees were always readily available and willing to answer questions, make reservations or arrange transportation for us whenever we asked. The Inn is conveniently located, and we found every sight we wanted to see just a short train ride away from the subway station on the corner of the block. The Chelsea Pines was less expensive than so many other places we considered staying, and it is so warm and welcoming…we can’t wait to go back!
