This is truly the first hotel, of many, in NYC that made me feel welcome and comfortable the way most hotels in the world outside of NYC do. Troy and Anna were pleasant and helpful, never too busy for conversation, so knowledgable about the area, interested in leaning about our new experiences. The food situation is delightful--lots of healthy (& not so, if so inclined) options offered at the breakfast buffet, and snacks & drinks available all day. It would be nice to enjoy breakfast in the garden in warm weather. We enjoyed using our personal in-room Nespresso machine, and appreciated the fridge & bottled water in it. Our 3rd floor room (Debbie Reynolds) was perfect for the 3 of us, and we loved the quirky angles of the bath. Everything in this small hotel has been done thoughtfully, with the guest's comfort and amusement in mind. It even passed muster with our (very cool) 14 yo daughter. We'll be back!
