“What a wonderful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

My husband and I stayed at Rooms to Let last October and couldn't have had a better time. Our suite was wonderful. We loved the layout and the charm of the room, plus the view was great! I would have to say the best part was the view of the lovely garden on the ground floor. I only wish we were there in the summer to see it in full bloom. We love the West Village, and the B&B is in a great location. Close to the Hudson River and near some really great restaurants! We would recommend this to anyone looking to have a non-typical stay in NYC.

Amazing stay! A real 'NY home'....in one of the most beautiful area of Manhattan: the Meatpacking! The house is very clean! Marge's very sweet, and Steven so helpful! The rooms are very cozy.....we feel like at 'home'. Right next the corner you can find bars, restaurants and café..... Subway only 5/10min walking. by C&A from Italy

Stayed here end of November 2013 and enjoyable stay. Made to feel very welcome by Stephen and the two cats. Friendly welcome and nothing too much trouble. Area is very central and rooms comfortable. Will definitely recommend to friends and would go back again.

I was skeptical about staying in the neighborhood as I always stay in upper west side. Omg, this b&b is wonderful! I loved the atmosphere of staying in a beautiful old home & found it was in a great new neighborhood to explore. There were 2 cats whom I loved coming home each day to see running about. Very nice room, the shared bathroom was only shared between myself & 2 other ladies so no problems. Would def recommend to anyone wanting a real NY experience.

I wanted to move out as soon as I moved in. I had to share a bathroom with the elderly and Inhospitable owner who left notes all over the house.Little privacy.
No breakfast but if you were lucky you would get a few vouchers to a restaurant 10 minutes away, when I asked for 2 more was told if she could find them! She didn't.You also need to like animals.
Definitely not recommended

We just spent our honeymoon in New York at 83 Horatio Street and it was fabulous. We stayed 12 days in the suite. Although quite a low ceiling, once you get used to it, it's no problem. It was quiet, very comfy and felt like home. Location was brilliant, so close to the Highline, Chelsea, subway and everything. Loved coming home to 83 Horatio after a long day exploring! Loved coming home to the West village! Marg, Sandy and Lena were all lovely. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

I spent an absolutely lovely week in New York in late August and was lucky to have a room at Rooms to Let. It felt almost like home, but I did not have to cook! Everyone was so welcoming, and I had access to the garden, the butler's kitchen, the living and dining rooms...practically the entire house (except for Marge's private bedroom and office). The antique furnishings are beautiful. The neighborhood is wonderful and close to many fine restaurants. The HIgh Line is just a block north. Prices are comparable or lower than traditional hotels.

Room Tip: All the rooms are wonderful. Sophie's room has twin beds and is large with a fireplace (on the b...
