Please be warned: the Jane is in in the process of converting from a NYC rooming house into a hotel. While I was there, all of my fellow residents were actual residents. Late night coming and going, folks hanging out in the hall, as well as personal possessions. Had to walk around guys on ladders, guys carrying bags of trash, plaster, etc. Elevator out of order. Restaurant on the first floor not in existence yet, still under construction. When this is all done, it'll look great and will be a cheap alternative for folks who don't mind sharing a bathroom with the whole floor but right now, not ready, still a rooming house. Rooms are truly tiny tiny but that was expected (barely bigger than the bed). I was surprised that its marketed as a hotel at the present.
