“Small place, big time coffee!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012 via mobile

Good place to go and have a coffe and try some of the cookies that they have. The special one for me was the olive biscuit. The workers are really friendly and great service. Also on the same street if you hungry you can grab great Lobster rolls on Luke's.

“Tiny Coffee shop boasting Big Flavor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011

We live in New Jersey but make the trip to NYC just to pick up coffee at Abraco. It's a very small place, there are no chairs or tables (except for a bench and small bar-like table outside). Don't expect to get a coffee, find a seat and read the paper or work on your laptop like you do at other coffee shops. Master the drill: line up (the lines can be long), take your pick from a short list of drinks and baked goods from the pastry case, pay (and tip), claim your order (add sugar if necessary) and leave the premises. We like the deep flavor of the coffee, the frothy foam and beautiful latte art. And we'll always pair it with an olive oil cake. Worth the trip and the wait.

“Strongest Espresso You'll Ever Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2009

I pretty much crossed the city to get to this coffee shop but it was worth it. It's easily overlooked--the inside was packed with about five people in it. I really liked that the owner himself was pulling each shot of espresso from the manual espresso machine because he knows what he's doing. It was an excellent shot of espresso but definitely the strongest one I've ever had. If this doesn't wake you up nothing will.
