The hotel room was clean (apart from the dishes in the kitchen!) and modern and was super close to the Subway stop at 52nd Street & Broadway.
Doorman and other staff were friendly (some permanent residents not so much!) especially as we arrived at about 1am.
Bathroom was tiny but served it's purpose for only a few nights. Room was pretty stuffy (and it was winter) and you had to sleep with the NOISY airconditioner on to be comfortable - although this is a bonus if you're not used to the sounds of New York!
If you get the chance though, try to stay near Union Square or in the Soho/Gramercy/Chelsea regions - it's a much quainter side of New York. We were lucky to do so for the last half with friends and it's a real taste of New York culture.
