“A Must See, if you are interested in libraries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

This edifice to learning makes one believe in architecture, charity, and that, if well managed, there will always be a place in our society for libraries. Don't miss whatever is going on behind the library in Bryant Park, and say hello to the lions, Prudence and Fortitude.

“Just Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

I Love to visit the main library, walk into the entrance between the great lions, and step into a word of quiet, serenity and books! It is just the most beautiful building, with gorgous architecture and artwork. The exhibitions are always wonderful and you can explore for hours. The reading room is one of my favorite places ever - I love it!

“Beautiful rooms showing old glamor of a library”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

Fun to walk around and see how they used to build things. They have nice exhibits. Its a good spot to take a break from the crowds on 5th Ave.

“a Library like no other in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This library is truly an outstanding place to visit and reflect on the learning places that small and large are there for us to see and find out about just about everything. What a great building. If you are from a small town just go there. The building reflects learning in its true form. It is a place for the whole family and your children will see a whole new world open up to them in the form of learning. Take them and yourself.

A palace for books, protected by lions! This is a beautiful oasis in the hectic city, great to wander and observe readers at work.
