We were shown to the second floor, very interesting atmosphere with a lot of plush furniture. A nice oldfashioned atmoshere and we sat very confortable, a lot of place between the tables. The service was very attentive. We ordered cocktails, a dry martini and a cosmo. Both drinks were very good and we studied the menu. We actually wanted fish, even if this was a steak house mainly, and the head waiter offered to make us a special of the daily special. The daily special was snapper, and he offered to make it on top of risotto (with asparagus and other vegetables). We took this offer and it was one of the very best meals I had in four weeks time. I must say, during our four weeks visit in the States travelling along the East Coast from Miami to New York we had many nice dinners. I guess this was about the best. The risotto was fabulous with the snapper on top of it. We had a glass of wine to go with the dinner and lime pie afterwards.
We wanted to come back the next evening, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Sundays. Anyway I will remember this evening for a long time and would like to come back (living in Europe a bit far).
