The Morgans is an absolutely perfect retreat! My husband and I spent a night there to celebrate his birthday. We stayed in the balcony suite -- it was beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable (we didn't want to leave!), spotless, quiet, and had the most amazing views of the Empire State building. The staff was wonderful - upon checking in, the lovely person at the reception desk asked us what brought us to town, and when we said it was my husband's birthday she promptly sent a bottle of chammpagne to our room. What a nice touch! We also love the location because it's central to everything - not too far downtown, uptown, west or east.
We stay at top-notch hotels for business and pleasure at least ten times a year, and the Morgans truly rates as one of the best in terms of design, service, cleanliness and location. We will be back for sure!

I've stayed in many NYC hotels during business trips over the past 20 years, and after my first trip to Morgans, it is my new favorite. The staff was wonderful -- friendly, helpful and not the least bit haughty. I had a basic room and it was plenty big, tastefully appointed, and completely comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was terrific -- as many of my favorite things as I cared to eat. All-in-all this was a great retreat from the hectic pace of my business trip. Morgans is big enough that I felt secure, yet small enough that I felt well cared for. I am eager to return.

The Morgans is the perfect place to stay on the city. It's quiet, clean, and very comfortable. No noisy lobby, no gift shop, no nonsense. The staff is great. I never stay anywhere else.

We just stayed at the Morgans this past weekend and we loved it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Included in your stay is a wonderful continental breakfast that was a nice way to start the day. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We also had a great view looking over the street below. The location of the hotel is very central in Midtown. My only small complaint is there weren't a lot of bars/restaurants close by to stop in for cocktail. The Madison Bistro is right across the street but their hours were a little strange and were close one night we wanted to go. Overall the hotel was wonderful, just wished the neighborhood had more options besides shopping.
