“Great hotel with a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at this hotel from 15th-20th March. The hotel is in a great location for tourists, right next to Times Square and several subway stations.

The room was bigger than I expected, with a small table and chairs and a little wardrobe to hang clothes. The bathroom was really nice with a huge rainfall shower, it was amazing!!

The free breakfast in the morning was lovely with a great selection. Coffee, pastries and biscuits were available all day, great for an afternoon stop to rest after a days sightseeing. The wine & cheese in the evening was also a great added extra.

The staff on reception and at the door were so helpful and extremely friendly, it was so nice to see a big friendly smile when coming in from the freezing cold outside!

Will definitely return!!

I have stayed at many of the huge upscale hotels in New York City around the theater district and Lincoln Center, and I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful this little boutique hotel proved to be. I had the best night's sleep I have ever had in NYC before, as the rooms were very quiet and darkened very well. You would never know you were right on Times Square. The breakfast buffet and the nightly wine and cheese offerings were incredible. (included in the price of the room). The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I am definitely going to stay here again the next time we are in town. Why would you stay anywhere else?

Room Tip: would choose a courtyard facing room if you want it a little quieter

Definitely a nice place to stay near Times Square. Slightly old
fashioned but I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in the heart
of the city. Sleeping at night in the bed was without question
the best. The wine and cheese reception in late afternoon was
quite good, as also the morning breakfast with the NYTimes.
Staff claimed the tigers were from the movie but I don't recall.
Still highly enjoyable!

The Cassa is a small, boutique hotel located close to Times Square, the Theater District, Grand Central, etc. The entrance is small, but is brightly painted to make it less easy to miss.
We arrived early, hoping to store our luggage while we attended an art show. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room was ready and we had been upgraded. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom was upscale and the rain shower head was wonderful.
Everyone we met on the staff was helpful and friendly.
In a city full of expensive hotels, the Cassa is an affordable gem. I would not hesitate to stay there in the future.

Yet another excellent stay at the Casablanca. Everyone is always very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the happy hours most enjoyable. Looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks.

We stayed here after our cruise, the hotel is an oasis in Times Sq, the staff are so welcoming, they even accepted a delivery from Amazon for us and let us store a case there whilst on our cruise, a special thanks must go to Jeffery on the front desk and Gabby for the Proseco. The breakfasts are great and the cheese and wine at night is a lovely touch, will almost certainly stay here the next time we are in NYC, PS, thanks for the wine in our room for our anniversary, it was a lovely touch, thanks again.

We booked this hotel on the basis of trip advisor reviews and we were not dissapointed. We asked for a room towards the back as I am a fairly light sleeper. The room was quiet and we had no problems with noise. The hotel is just off Times Square which is really busy and noisy but you would not know it when inside the hotel. It really is a little haven. The breakfast buffet and evening cheese and wine were great. The staff are very attentive and nothing seems to be a problem. Special thanks to the doorman who tried really hard to get us a taxi to the airport on our last day. Excellent service right up to the end!

Room Tip: A room towards back of hotel seems to be quiter.
