“Great Hotel Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2010

From valet parking upon arrival to valet parking on departure, this was a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good but expensive like everything else in NYC. The only mystery not solved was the code needed for towels, which were never replaced so we called down for them each night upon return from our explorations of a great city. A great stay for the family. Thanks

I moved here from the Sheraton a block away..Checked in early at 9.00, but a room was made available almost immediately.
Smallish reception, but after the bustle of the Sheraton this was welcome!!
The rooms are nice and large with two BIG twin beds, warm green carpeting and white painted doors and windows, very old world, very elegant but with all mod cons. Wonderful water pressure in the shower and a decent sized walk in closet where I could store my suitcases.
Great location, the Randolph restaurant and Bar was open but there was some renovation going on, but there is a huge hilton across the road with a Football field sized bar. But loads of other choices as well...Conveniently close to Central park for a run in the morning....

Will I stay there again...Most certainly...I have stayed in four new york hotels over the last two years and this was by far the Best...the others were the Sheraton, pretty decent, The Time Hotel on 49th pretty awful and the Millenium Broadway, Nice!!

We stayed at the Warwick from July 1st to the 4th. I had booked the room through points so I was a little leary that we may have been given a small room looking at a brick wall! Nothing could have been further from the truth. We had a very spacious room on the 24th floor with windows in 2 directions! The location was amazing. Five minutes to Central Park. Two minutes up The Avenue of Americas was a deli store, open 24 hrs, called "Well Greens". They were perfect for a cheap breakfast: toasted bagels, juice, coffee, etc... The rooms were so quiet. we never heard one car horn! We would definately stay at the Warwick again.

We stayed here for on a weekend trip to NYC. The hotel has an old charm to it. The staff was super. The lobby was nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. No complaints. We were in walking distance to Central Park, so that was good. Pretty expensive breakfast for what we had, but what can you do? I would definitely stay there again.

Our room was spacious and contained everything one would expect from a 4 star hotel. Its location is excellent for the mid manhattan area just below Central Park and was just 50 meters from MOMA. Although a bit old fashioned, we found it to be better value than other similarly priced hotels in the area such as the Park Central or Wellington Hotels, both of which we have stayed at in the past.

The location of this hotel could not be better. Seriously. You are a couple of blocks from Central Park, down the road from the London (G Ramsay's restaurant is amazing with really good prix fixe menu), a couple of blocks from the theatre district (but away from the insantity). We felt totally safe walking to and from the hotel at all hours of day and night. The desk staff were a bit rude, but the restaurant staff greated my daughter and I like family each morning. The breakfast buffet gets a bit dull after a couple of days as it doesn't ever change. The rooms (we had premium) were spacious and the beds were very comfy. The elevators are small but this is part of the heritage hotel charm. There was little noise from the street (overlooked Ave of Americas). Really liked the updated electronics. Bathroom amenities were superb. I will definitely book this hotel when we return next spring.

Stayed at the Warwick for 8 nights. The location was great. The room was large and quiet. The bathroom needed a lot of work as it had a cracked sink in the vanity, a poorly repaired bath and a good scrub all over would have made a difference. The staff were friendly and offered to change our room. New York was so wonderful that we didn't take up the offer to move as we found we were too busy to pack up and shift rooms. We mistakenly used the mini bar fridge as a refrigerator and were very nearly charged for items we did not use but front staff were very professional and removed the charge from our bill and provided a small refrigerator for our remaining four days which although a bit old, battered and noisey did the job. We got our room for under $200 a night which was a great rate for Manhattan and would not want to pay more unless we had a newly renovated room. Randolph's bar is cosy but very expensive. We also had a coffee maker which made an okay cup of tea. I enjoyed the boutique style of this hotel and would stay again but request a renovated room.
