A friend and I stayed at mercer for a week in Aug 2014. Just need to say that the place was great! The room was pretty big by NYC standards and we only got the cheap one! The lemon thyme and lemonade cocktail in lobby was a must everyday! And I have to make special mention for the mercer kitchen down stairs.... It was up there as one of the best meals of the trip! We used the front desk to book most of our reastraunts and they were more than happy to go above and beyond. The door man will hail you a cab and let you know where to go when needed.
The location is great for ppl that want to be in NYC for great food, trendy cafés and bespoke shopping. Will be staying again for sure.
