I really feel like I have been doing a bucket list of hotels lately (Hay Adams, Rock House, Berkeley)anyway this one WINS!!!!5 stars plus for the incredible attention to tiny details:incredible linens in bed and bath, actually nice and usable guest slippers, macaroons boxed not just chocs by the bed, proper crystal in the minibar AND Frederic Malle perfumes for sale in there too(YES YES!:P).Proper snacks in proper pull out sub zero fridges and proper ice cubes in pull out freezer.Walk in closet, FAB bath all marble $50k worth of fixtures and fittings and a bath straight from heaven...and the shower a bit like standing under Iguazu falls no kidding. The marble floor is black and white and laid out in lines...VERY hard to do properly.Bed to die for, proper notepads and letter paper...no skimping on nothing...and bathroom scales.I will be back very shortly I *heart* the Mark and the best part a fabulous team and service that knows no bounds...of course it is all overseen by a detail oriented Frenchman-it's the only way!.Because we loved the restaurant and bar so much we ate there twice (and we are lazy-so the review for that is in the food section).Location really could not be better...I am not the type to stay in Hell's Kitchen in the trendiest hotspot ever...errrr it is still Hell's Kitchen.Walk to every great museum in the western world...I just ran out of superlatives!
