You travel guide may have told you something about this small museum: that they have a wonderful Vermeer and a Rembrandt self-portrait. Trust me: you will be surprised by some items the travel book did not mention.
You start by viewing some drawings - make sure to read the descriptions, they do tell you interesting stuff about the sketches and why they are there. Then you climb the stairs and get to see the paintings, some of which are impressive - especially if you also like El Greco and Vermeer. And Titian. And Rembrandt. And Velasquez. And Goya.
And yes, all this in a small building you can visit in a few hours.
