“Lovely quiet museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

The best time to visit the Cloister is during war weather when the garden is planted and in bloom. The open air quality of the courtyard makes the place special. The museum is a ode to medieval art. The don't miss part of the museum is the Unicorn tapestries. If you have time attend one of the talks, which are excellent.

“Great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Great location to look over the Hudson, to wander a castle like structure, to visit interesting revived neighborhood bars and restaurants. Art wise, there are interesting items to see.

“Peaceful and unforgettable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Went with several friends years ago and was delightfully surprised at it's beauty. Surrounded by flowers, trees, nature. It's a place not to be missed. I can still smell the Frankincense inside.
