“Peaceful and unforgettable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Went with several friends years ago and was delightfully surprised at it's beauty. Surrounded by flowers, trees, nature. It's a place not to be missed. I can still smell the Frankincense inside.

“Museums galore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

The Cloisters deserves a visit not only for the museum's content but also its location. Try and combine with a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art - both museums can be visited on the same day with one ticket. Start by arriving at the Cloisters for opening time, then go to the Metropolitan Museum and enjoy a nice lunch at one of the cafes before starting the visit.
