“unforgettable”

The place reminds you everything about that day. The water falling into the two towers holes is a good idea.
There is a free offer to get inside(5-10 dollars)

“Moving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

We visited here on Sunday. It was included in our New York pass but I think only £17 without it - definitely worth the price. A very moving experience inside; seeing the many missing persons posters that went up around the city, lots of information to read on the walls of people's stories...very, very sad. A wonderful place to pay tribute.

There are tours but we missed this sadly.

“Be Inspired!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013 via mobile

It seems like only yesterday it happened. I grew up wanting to see the World Trade Center and the events of 9/11 would change us all. My thoughts were to visit the Memorial now to pay my respects. I finally made! God help us all! Be inspired and be humbled !

“It was sad to relive, but we're glad we could pay respects”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

The wall of posters was moving. Several displayed photos were from angles we'd never seen before, such as the Statue of Liberty in the foreground between the two burning towers and the Washington Monument in the background while the Pentagon fires were being extinguished. We also liked the future skyline exhibit and the chance to write our reflections in the lower level of the Center. Under construction as of Nov 2013.

“Very moving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

In my humble opinion, you can't visit NYC without going hear. But be warned, this is a very emotional place, hearing the stories on video, reading the missing persons cards with photos attached. And reading comments from visitors from all over the world. Boxes of handkerchiefs are placed throughout the exhibit. I'm very pleased that I went. Note that there are stairs as the exhibit is over two floors, not sure if a lift is available. Toilets are provided downstairs. A gift shop selling memorial items is located at the main door.
