“Very moving”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

We went to the tribute center and the WTC site. It is an incredibly moving memorial, but very crowded. The videos shown in the center are so touching and bring the day back as though it was yesterday. I would recommend that everyone go to see the site and center, it makes the magnitude of 9/11 all the more real when you see it in person.

“Small and not very informative”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

I'd skip this if I was short on time. It seems more geared towards the visitor centre shop to sell things, rather than sparing more space to show WTC tributes.

Well worth a visit, you DO have to book online first though so don't just show up, its free, but you need to book a slot. Its very peaceful and moving and has a nice gift shop with proceeds going to the charity

“Intimate Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We were down in New York just as Hurricane Sandy was about to strike. We were scheduled for the Monday but fearing getting shut out, we headed down there on the Saturday. When we got there, we explained our dilemma and despite being sold out the accommodated us on the next available tour. Our tour guide were two gentleman, one who was in the building that fateful day and the other a responder who lost a family member that day. Both of their insight and stories were very moving, bringing some people to tears. The tour emphasized the respect for all the innocent people that died that day along with all the emergency responders. We learned a lot that day...a very emotional experience.

“Powerful - very moving.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

I was so overwhelmed with emotion during my visit to the Tribute Center. We listened as a September 11, 2001 survivor guided a group through the center, reliving memories of that unforgettable day. The Tribute Center is a must-see, along with the Firefighters Memorial, Ground Zero, and the 911 memorial site when in NYC.
