“Something for Everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

One of the great things about New York is the hustle and bustle, the constant activity, and it really is the city that never sleeps, however we do need to sleep. A break from the madness is needed every now and again. Central Park is the perfect place for such a rest. There is something for everyone, lovely peaceful walks, play grounds, a zoo, a skating rink, horse and carriage rides and lots of becnhes to just sit and watch the world usually run or cycle by.
It is massive but good to break up so you can make several visists and see/ do something new each time.

“Horse carriage ride is a must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

The horses of Central Park may not be around much longer if the mayor of NYC has his way, so grab a fun ride while you can. We had Martin from Ireland as our informative tour guide to the park's history and current happenings, and Luke his horse took us around the park. All the spring blooms on trees and flowers were out in all their glory. This was a wonderful way to spend an hour in the city.

“Groovin on a Sunday Afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

Forget about all the horse nonsense going on now with this park and the carriages. On a warm sun-shining day throw your blanket down in the "Sheep Meadow," & take in the wonder that is New York..Stroll the lanes past baseball diamonds and bicycle paths, over bridges, gargoyles on the edifices of the Westside Pre-War Hi-Rises & past Tavern on the Green. Watch New Yorkers at their best and having fun! You to can feel the warmth of this great city at the Zoo, flying a kite or on a boat ride on the lake. When all else fails peace & serenity prevail at Central Park

“Great park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

Never realized how enormous it actually is. Great for pictures, biking and letting kids run with Frisbee or kite.
