“Always Surprising”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

What can be said about Central Park that hasn't already been said? It still boggles the mind that this huge green peaceful area sits in the middle of (arguably) one of the greatest city in the world. I strolled for two hours with my daughter and her husband and two grand-kids. We watched the turtles and the ducks and sat and enjoyed a softball game.

The only negative was the rude guy behind the counter at the Kerbs Boathouse cafe.

Otherwise, Central Park is a must-experience in New York.

“Central Park West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Take a walk from Columbus Circle along Central Park West and view the famous buildings along the way. The Dakota where John Lennon was shot, the building where Ghostbusters was filmed, the homes of famous stars like Sting, Jerry Seinfeld, Diana Ross. Central Park is beautiful to just walk or Jog.

“Lovely and charming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We were there at the start of spring, when the flowers were just starting to blossom. It was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

If you are the romantic sort like I am, you should go boating in the lake! The serenity and calm, balanced with the views of the skyscrapers in the city makes a perfect afternoon after lunch or evening stroll before dinner!

“Wonderful!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We only went to a small section, but it was beautiful. A lovely lake with small sail boats. We went to the boat house for ice cream.

“Excitement, excitement, excitement”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

What can one say that hasn't been said about central park that hasn't already been said. If you have a lot of free time, enjoy the park or see it bit by bit, but don't miss it. The Zoo was fun, but all the people and the excitement makes for an experience.
