Just visited the Statue of Liberty so some little tips.. If you can wait... take your boat photos AFTER you have left the island. Everyone is pushing everyone else to take a photo on the way to the island.
Remarkably after the visit now one takes a photo so the top deck is really empty. The canteen is always full so if you can wait i would suggest the one at ellis island instead... Apart from this i enjoyed my visit and its just a pity that you cannot go into the statue as it just suggests that liberty in America is closed and as a symbol it should be open to all..
