“Just Like It Looks In The Movies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Busteling with travelers rushing to their trains, shoppers, tourists, etc. Beautiful building too. We couldn't find a place to eat that looked good to us though. I thought they would have more "sit down" dining venues. There are only two restaurants and a food court. The Apple Store at Grand Central is very unique. Kudos to Apple for finding one of the best places in the world to put an Apple Store. Happy we visited Grand Central.

“The Best Railway Station On The Planet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Awestruck at the Grand Central.................Grand Central Terminal (GCT)—often incorrectly called Grand Central Station, or shortened to simply Grand Central—is a commuter rail terminal station at 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City, United States. Built by and named for the New York Central Railroad in the heyday of American long-distance passenger trains, it is the largest train station in the world by number of platforms - 44, with 67 tracks along them. They are on two levels, both below ground, with 41 tracks on the upper level and 26 on the lower. The monumental railway station was constructed in 1903-1913 for the New York and Harlem Railroad company. It is a grand Beaux-Arts building. According to the travel magazine Travel + Leisure in its October 2011 survey, Grand Central Terminal is "the world's number six most visited tourist attraction", bringing in approximately 21,600,000 visitors annually. The Main Concourse is the center of Grand Central. The space is cavernous – 275 ft (84 m) long, 120 ft (37 m) wide and 125 ft (38 m) high[10] – and usually filled with bustling crowds.

“Crowded, Lovely and lively”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

This Place connects to almost all places in NYC and therefore very crowded and lively. Full of passengers, tourists and visitors. Celebrating 100thanniversary and has year round events. The hall is beautiful and well maintained with lots of chandeliers. Lots of shops inside and outside. Lots of eating places and shopping places.
There is a Grand Central market in the complex and it is amazing. You get lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, bread and many more things.
Went there many times and see lots and lots of people taking pictures, enjoying the place and shopping and eating.
DON'T MISS. MUST SEE PLACE.

“Just visited on 100th anniversary”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

This place keeps it's word. It's GRAND. The place is somehow overcrowded by tourists. You'll be seeing more tourists than the people actually riding in the subway. The architecture is simply amazing and grandeur. The ceiling is mesmerizing. Couldn't stop taking photos of it. I'm happy I could stop by.
