“Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

Our group of 12 people had a light breakfast at this cafe. We ordered at the counter and the breakfast items were tasty and warm. The place is a cute old house and is small but adequate and has a clean nice bathroom.

“Cute little eatery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

Can't lie I was really surprised to see this cute little place around a booming oil industry. The outside is very cute with outdoor cafe seating and limited indoor seating. The overall atmosphere appears to be regulars with the occasional weary traveler. The menu is limited but plenty to choose from. We both had the breakfast burrito with egg, green chiles, cheese, and bacon. They do offer sausage instead of bacon or neither if you so deserve. The price was extremely reasonable at under 5 dollars for a large filled burrito with good flavors. I also ordered the ice chai which was good and pretty similar to SB. They do make everything fresh and I would encourage the airy and light Rosemary cookies. Enjoy!

“Early Morning Eats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

We tried this small cafe on a morning we were headed out of town. It was great that they opened early. The staff is friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the food was good. We would recommend this place for a breakfast snack.

“Yummy Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2014

I tried a breakfast sandwich on a croissant roll. It came with egg, cheese and green chili but they offered add-on options. I chose to add-on asparagus. The green chili appeared to be fresh roasted and it wasn't too spicy for me. I enjoyed it very much and I plan to return soon and try something else!

“The nicest people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

What a great little place for homemade breakfast rolls, croissants and biscotti. The coffee was delicious. The staff were very friendly and talked very highly of how nice it was to live in Carlsbad. That was a pleasant welcoming feel.
