Description: We honor the rich Carolina BBQ tradition of low & slow but unlike many pits you won't find any Bubbas here. Though there is often confusion with our name, our pitmaster Starr Teel and Mike and Lindsay Cromartie in the kitchen are all classically trained chefs. So remember, we're not Hubba Bubba. We're Hubba Hubba as in "Mmmm! Look at that brisket. HUBBA HUBBA!" Our menu features scratch made sauces and classic sides as well as unique seasonal sandwiches, soup, salad and even fish and shrimp on Fridays and Saturdays. And we're ready for anything you can dream up so remember us for catering. For catering, phone: 702-1301 Hubba Hubba Smokehouse is a great stop on a pleasant summer afternoon. Hubba Hubba is about more than just bbq! It's also a great gathering place. It's an informal place to bring a client for lunch, take a break from a busy day and a choice location for entertaining friends old and new at a catered event.

“So yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Visited for dinner. It was a Saturday summer concert night. The line was long but worth the wait. Really good BBQ and delicious sides, cornbread, baked beans, potato salad. There were several different sauce options so whether you like sweet, mustard based, or something with more kick, you can find it here. Meat was tender and delicious. Don't visit flat rock without stopping here.

“best BBQ period”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

this place has the best ribs ever. they have huge amounts of meat on them and are not dripping with sauce and are cooked to perfection. the location is great as well, really nice atmosphere. great after building up an appetite hiking in the mountains. I don't like slaw, but I liked theirs, and the potato salad is good as well.

“BBQ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

It was decent BBQ. The atmosphere was fun and the lady taking orders gave the place a good vibe. It's close to some quaint shops ... my nephew and niece were intrigued by the honor box for paying for the popsicles.

“Liked everything about it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014 via mobile

The food was excellent! Pulled pork was delicious even without sauce and the baked beans were like home-made. The ribs and pickled eggs were very tasty. The setting is very cool, and we even had entertainment when a guinea fowl startled my companion wandering around. He had never seen one.

“Good pit-stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

If you're a BBQ fan, this place is great. They have indoor and outdoor seating, sidewalk chalk for the kiddos, and a wood-fired pit. I could definitely taste the difference between that and commercial smokers.
