After a long (but beautiful) drive from the crowds of Bryce Canyon National Park, I am glad I chose this property for a restful nights sleep. My room was immaculately clean, very spacious and comfortable. Parked my car right outside my room and had my luggage inside within 30 seconds. I had a look at the Saddlery Restaurant across the street, but did not eat there. Its worth a look just to see the beautiful leather saddles which are mounted on barstools around the bar. There is a nice gift shop with high quality leather goods inside also.
The staff at the hotel was helpful and friendly. Decor is a bit dated, but all in all, still very comfortable. On a side note, if you have the chance to get up very early and drive through Capital Reef State Park (like I did on my way to Arches National Park), it is especially beautiful in the pre-dawn. And if you are headed to Arches, try not to miss Dead Horse Point State Park as you are driving into Moab. (This is where Thelma and Louse drove their car off the cliff at the end of the movie). Sorry I just had to add that. It was one of the highlights of my trip.
