“Clean and plenty of space”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

The room we got on the second floor had plenty of space and was very clean. We had two queens and still space to move around. There was fridge and microwave coffee and tea making were all good. The bathroom was fresh and plenty of towels etc. The cable TV worked well with high quality signal and good wifi. The view from the second floor back was really nice. There was a reasonble choice for breakfast, but they need to get more than one waffle maker, we gave up waiting while the woman in front made about 8 for her family! Selfish git. The staff were helpfull enough, but not overly enthuseastic.

This motel is in a great location, but it needs TLC and updating. Furniture is old and worn. We stayed at Austin's Chuckwagon the night before, but unfortunately couldn't get a second night there. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant, even upgraded us to a suite. But it was not much of an upgrade. The room was awkwardly large, with tired and stained furniture and carpeting. Surprisingly, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast room definitely needs updating with new furniture and wall coverings. Food selection needs to be improved. One of the worst breakfasts we've had at a budget hotel.

Holy 80s McFly! This place hasnt been updated since it was built. The hotel was ok, the rooms were ok, the breakfast was ok, the parking lot had angled parking pointing to the back of the property to an area too small to turn around without making a three point turn. The price was great and the front desk clerk was awesome. There is no elevator so the second story guests will be hiking the stairs. All in all, it was... "ok".

The overall stay was ok, but there were problems. A surly manager put us into a room where, on a cold day, the window was wide open. We put on the heater and returned to an overheated room. The problem began when we shut off the heater, went to dinner and a long stroll and returned to a room stinking of smoke. It was incredible. The previous manager (who had registered us into the room) had lived there and smoked continuously. We should never have been put into it. The next manager and staff put us into another room which was ok. The new manager (the one who replaced the smoker) was polite and friendly and promised to change the rugs, sheeting, etc., but this should have been done before that by the owner. The breakfast was fairly good.

We stayed at the days inn for one night. The place looks very clean and tidy and for the most part it was. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful also. The downside was the very thin walls - the person in the next room kept their tv on all night and it pretty much seemed like it was in our room. The person directly above us got up at 6am --- trust me -- we heard every step she took. All in all, this is not a reflection of the owner, rather than the person who designed the motel
