We just spend a short vacation on the Cape and it felt like at least a week. We came home relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Janet and Adam at the Bed & Breakfast were a delight! They were so accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding, fresh fruit every day (and she makes her own scones)! The room we stayed in was immaculate, as was the whole Inn (inside and out), and everything was so comfortable. It was a home away from home. And they know their restaurants. Every meal we had was superb, in Wellfleet and P-town. Since I prefer to travel on the off season, this made our stay even more special because we were the only guests there. That also afforded us the opportunity to visit more with Janet and Adam.

I could go on, but I think you get the picture. I would definitely recommend this beautiful B&B. It's the type of place where you truly feel welcomed...and it's hard to say good-bye. Now that's what I call a real vacation.

This bed and breakfast is unique, beautifully decorated, and quite comfortable. Hosts Janet and Adam are attentive and hospitable. They also happen to be terrific conversationalists. The rooms at the Stone Lion Inn are lovely and--as would befit an inn matching the caliber of the hosts--have been renovated by the hosts themselves. (In fact, as it turns out, they laid the tiles in each bathroom themselves!) We also learned that the exquisite headboards on the beds within each room have been crafted by Adam, who has a degree in design and is a gifted cabinetmaker--as well as a veritable johannes fac totum--a real jack of all trades. Janet's baking skills are magnificent; her scones are delicious, and just recently, we sampled a marvelous banana french toast that would knock any breakfast lover's socks off. Located near Wellfleet Harbor and across from Blackfish Creek, the Stone Lion Inn also happens to be just a "stone's throw" from the center of town. This B&B is, hands down, well worth your money. Having returned to this delightful destination on countless visits, we highly recommend that anyone needing a place to stay in Wellfleet make reservations for the Stone Lion Inn well in advance--especially if you're visiting in the summer. Truly divine.

Adam and Janet are great hosts, they are thoughtful, sharing information of places to visit and local restaurants, and they are very attentive.
Rooms are comfortable, clean and well furnished.
Breakfasts are imaginative, tasty and plentiful, just made to linger over and chat with other guests and our hosts.
We will recommend the Stone Lion Inn to any of our friends visiting Cape Cod.

A lovely restored Victorian inn, comfortable as can be. Janet and Adam are delightful hosts who seem to have thought of everything. An ideal location in Wellfleet -- close to the pier and town. Great breakfasts to boot! Don't hesitate to stay at The Stone Lion.
