We heard about Ceraldi from a friend who told us Michael is the best chef on the Cape. We decided to try it for ourselves and we agree with our pal. The restaurant has a prix fix seven course menu that changes every night depending on the availability of local ingredients. You can also get a wine pairing for each course. We had Wellfleet oysters that were super fresh with an amazing seaweed dressing, tuna bruschetta, root vegetables (from the chef's father's farm), risotto with mushrooms, halibut and chocolate mousse. The chef explained each course and said where the ingredients were from. (The sour cherries that topped the mousse grew on a freind's tree).
The wide pairings were each delicious. This was a splurge, but worth every penny. Plan on spending a couple hours over this very special meal.
