“My favorite seafood on the East Coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

The family and I took my visiting in-laws to the Dixie crossroads this weekend for a wonderful seafood meal. Their "critters" appetizer are unique and good, and I also ordered a sampler appetizer of their spicy shrimp and it was like nothing we ever had before, simply great. The rock shrimp here is a must order, especially when they are in season and served fresh from their local menu. Also, the royal red shrimp is local and different than I've ever had. They also serve Maine lobster for a very reasonable price. The menu has many combinations to pick from, you will certainly find something for everyone. The kids enjoy feeding the fish outside before our meal. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this place for people with almost any situation, couples, families, etc.

“Good stop off the interstate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

I had eaten here many times over the years when I had business in the area and decided to take the family for a lunch stop as we were heading north on I-95. I knew my kids would love the hush puppies drowning in powdered sugar. The food itself is good, not great. Stick with the shrimp. Had mahi tacos that were fine. They obviously have been doing things right for so many years because the outside covered waiting area is huge. If you don't want chain fare, it's literally 5 minutes east of the interstate off exit 220.

“Good food but terrible service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Came here with a party of five. Hostess greeted us warmly and sat us quickly. Waitress was scattered and in attentive. Needed to ask for things multiple times. Forget sides apps and drinks. Saw her the most when it was time to pay the bill. Food and atmosphere was good but service definitely will make me think twice about returning.

“Good seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Five of us had different dishes and all were done wonderfully! The fried bread balls with powdered sugar were amazing! The rock shrimp were great, the regular shrimp was very tasty. The service was fair, as the waitress seemed preoccupied with something. However, the service was attentive without being overbearing. The dining areas are cozy, so not too many tables in any one area. That way you are not aware of there being a lot of people there, even if you had trouble finding a place to park. The portions were generous, but not overwhelming.
