“Good place to view Space Center, fish, relax, see manatees, turtles”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2011

A free rarely visited but well maintained park near Wells Fargo Bank in Titusville, not far from US1. Opposite Kennedy Space Centre so good view of Vehicle Assembly Building and new bridge over Indian River. Wooden fishing piers and walkways. We have over the years seen dolphins, manatees, turtles, pipefish, ospreys and other wildlife. Safe area.

“Great little park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2011

I was there for the next-to-last shuttle launch, and it's a great little park. Lots of shade, and there is a boardwalk that justs out into the river and you can see dolphins as they pass by. There are also bathrooms, and Burger King is nearby. Don't miss the little pool/fountain across the street from the park itself. There is a great tribute to the space program with lots of info about the crews. Crowds for the launch were huge, but the town of Titusville has done a phenominal job of welcoming tourists for these launches. Lots of people pitched tents, and I was able to park for free and sleep in my car overnight. The BK and CVS stayed open all night, and there was security wandering around all night and people were generally very friendly and considerate. Although the shuttles are no longer going up, this will be a great place to watch whatever comes next.

“Poorly designed but a good spot nevertheless”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2011

For being "Space View" Park, they could have cleaned up the trees that totally blocked the view of the launch pad. Some bleachers would have been welcomed, so that everybody could have a good spot to see without having to try and stand on your toes to see over the people infront of you that are inevitably six and a half feet tall. I went with my father and two sisters, nine and fifteen, and my boyfriend, for the final space shuttle launch. I arrived at about two in the morning for an 11:30 AM launch, and it was already mostly filled up. We had little room to set up two folding chairs and a beach umbrella because of the myriad of tents from people who decided to camp out for DAYS in advance. It was a good spot to watch the shuttle go up, but you need to get there early for any launches in the future (if there are any) and as close to the coast as you can because you wont be able to see anything for several seconds after liftoff if you dont.

“Awesome Spot for Shuttle Launch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2009

Space View Park is a great place to watch the Shuttle Launch. I had been watching them from the causeway in Kennedy Space Center. But didn't want to spend the money this time so tried out the park. Has some interesting displays about the space program as well. Recommend you get as close to the railing on the Gazebo Dock as possible as to not have your view blocked.
