“Fantastic find in the Hillcrest area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2009

Small wine bar with excellent "small bites" and extremely good value during happy hour (before 7pm). The service was great - welcoming and friendly but not over the top. Great food and wine with great decor - would very much recommend for couples and small groups.

“Great Wine and Small Bites!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2008

Our conceirge recommended this place. We had such a great time there. Met wonderful people and ate some of the best food and drinks while in San Diego.

The owner and staff were friendly and attentive and the place rocked with some great world beat music.

“Best New winebar in San Diego”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2008

Stumbled upon this NEW neighborhood winebar heading to the Old Globe Theatre. In a landmark bldg. Great food:: Mac crusted Ahi tuna with mango-habanero salsa and Wine: Chilean Haras Sauvignon Blanc. Sangria was extra special with fresh ginger. Service was very attentitive. Ambience is somewhere from a different place. NYC-SF-Amsterdam. Great music, sophisticated crowd. A definite must visit/support. Passionate, hospitable and professional young business owner. Parking in lot across the street after 5pm. Entrance on Grape Street. Ask for specials.
