“Decent Bar - Fairly empty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

This bar is located in the Hyatt. We met friends for dinner and drinks there. The service was decent - they didn't offer to refill our drinks unless we asked. The bar was also relatively empty - which was not a problem for us, but there was not a lot going on. Not a "happening" place. More of a quiet place to discuss business I would imagine. The music was a little loud, but I guess you could get them to turn it down if necessary. Out of all the restaurants and bars I've been to in San Diego, this is not a place to have fun and watch people. It's more quiet and relaxed.

“There are better places if you have the time”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

Located in the Hyatt. Menu not extensive. Service was poor due to understaffing. Food was average and certainly not worth the price. But, if you don't want to go out it's ok....once.

“Solid food; fast service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

I stopped in for lunch while at the hotel on business. Ordered a salad which was delivered in matter of minutes. I thought the menu was a bit limited, even as a sport bar. Awkward mix of high end hotel and sports bar; seems like it has an identity crisis.

“$20 Grease Burger”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

$14 Cheese Burger and $4 Diet Pepsi served with patato chips. So greasy I had to wash my hands afterword. With tax and tips over $20. It is not difficult to find much better almost anywhere.

“Just okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

We sat outside, which was really nice, esp if you like to watch people. The drinks and service was excellent. Try the chocolate cake for dessert, very yummy. BUT DO NOT eat in the bar/restaurant, the service was horrible, I had to find the waitress for the bill. Waitress never checked in on us after someone else delivered the meal, empty water glasses. Never saw the manager helping the waitress. Mediocre bar food. We are frequent visitors to SD but will not eat here again. Two strikes and your out!!
