We booked Lafayette ahead of our visit to San Diego even though we're stopping at Anaheim, as there is too much to see in just one day.
On first impressions, the hotel has that je-ne-se-quois that makes it charming and appealing. It may be the colonial style, the Hollywood decor, or the wonderful swimming pool that gives it glamour.
The rooms are nice and clean, spacious and well decorated, whilst retaining the style.
We were upgraded to a first floor pool view room (# 70) and we loved it.
Couldn't have been happier, and would not hesitate to recommend.
