“Spectacular setting for a National Cemetery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

The ocean views from this historic cemetery on Point Loma makes Fort Rosecrans one of the most beautiful of all the national cemeteries I have visited. The cemetery dates back to the days when California was still a territory.

“Gives a different perspective to San Diego”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

A short drive from the centre of town, this military cemetery is situated on Point Loma, looking east to San Diego and west over the Pacific.

It is a quiet and contemplative location. The cemetery is beautifully maintained and a fitting resting place for military personnel.

On a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean the tranquility is something you can feel, peaceful and beautiful. The area is pristine and groomed at all times. This is fitting resting site for our brave men and women.

“Inspirational!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

A must see for every American. These men and women gave their lives for our freedom. It was a beautiful location and they were actually having a service for a fallen hero and it was emotional to see them fold the flag! Worth the trip!
