“A really nice meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

We really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. Sitting outside, enjoying the weather, and looking at all the vessels added to the experience. The shrimp was excellent, the crab cakes very good, and the cod good. Some of the cod was a bit tough, but beyond that, really just great. We will return.

“Nobody goes there anymore; it's too crowded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

Well, Yogi Berra said something like that. If you are staying near Shelter Bay, this is the place to grab fresh seafood and cold beer. And they have plenty of fresh fish and shellfish to take home for the 'barbie. There are lots of locals taking food home too.
I had Eastern scallops plate, and a local 20 oz beer. Not cheap, but real good, and worth the price. This place is sooo busy the seafood has to be fresh, and they put out the food pretty quickly. This isn't the place for dinner - it's the the place you stop in after walking or biking the area, or stop and grab something to take home. It obviously feeds lots of those going on the deep water trips - whale watching or fishing.
I don't know who Mrs Kelly was, but she should be pleased to see the folks chowing down the food. And you can enjoy lots of people watching as they are coming off the whale watching boats.

“Fresh, quality seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

You can eat in, having the seafoods cooked several ways, or you can purchase fresh items to take home. It all looked so fresh and high quality. We had two dinners, both deep fried and loved them...soo fresh. Prices are like any good quality fish place, but you order at a counter, they call you to pick up, so no server. And, you can eat inside overlooking the docks or outside on the patio or upstairs....all with a great view. Yummy!!! They are only open until 7P.M.

“Pricey, but yummy! ”

Great seafood! Our family loves it! It is pricey, but good seafood is rarely cheap. It is so worth it.

“Best Fish Taco in San Diego”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

You can buy fresh fish here or have the fresh catch fish tacos. Specify you want local catch and you'll get two of the best fish tacos ever. You'll have to order at the fish counter and eat outdoors on picnic tables but you may get to see a fresh catch of Ahi brought in off the local boats! Perfect for a more casual and off the wall lunch spot
