“Unconventional restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant is hidden by the Italian delicatessen shop and you need to queue in tre shop to go in. As part of delicatessen shop, you expect great taste and products however they played the quantity card and you feel like in Italia, over fed... Cheap and Generous meals, simple and efficient. No "chichi", like a la casa...

“Wonderful restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

I would of never picked this by looking at it but it was suggested to us. A very cute old Italian style restaurant and not expensive. The food was excellent and the service was excellent as well. Would go back when I return.

“Great value and great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Their lasagna was awesome. The decor was definitely old school, but the food and service were both great. It was definitely worth the wait in the Italian market.

“Down to earth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Red and white checkered vinyl tablecloths and an entrance through the back of the little market sent the tone for this down-to-earth restaurant. Pizzas and pastas are the stars. I was pleased to have the waitress get me the desired whole wheat linguine for my pasta with clam sauce. The restaurant was noisy but fun and not expensive. Portions were generous. Our 'small' antipasto salad was plenty for two, and we took home leftovers of our clam linguine for another meal.

“Loud, inexpensive, fun-- a great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Plastic red and white checkered table cloths, empty chianti bottles hanging over head, loud-- perfect experience. Yes there are better place in little Italy for fine dining but it you're in the mood for inexpensive, fun dining this is the place. Pizzas are about $10 and feed 2-3. Everything else the same. The vino de la Casa is about $10 too. It's just like the Italian house wines in Italy - light, drinkable, won't get you drunk. Fun for big groups and families. We come 2-3 times a month. Live the everything pizza special and the torpedo (toasted and sprinkled w the crushed red pepper).
