“Excellent Christmas Day Brunch”

Had breakfast here on Christmas Day. The service and food were extremely delicouis. the fresh fruit and pastry were perfect. The grant bacon were crisp and light with just enough smoke to finish the palate. Excellent bacon chef.

Varied, eclectic menu with delicacies seldom seen on any menu. Outstanding quality, preparation, presentation and taste.

“Not So Great Grant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Service a bit too casual ("hey, guys") for the ambiance of the room. Also occasionally verged on the inattentive. Food OK. Wouldn't be my first choice in the future for a special meal.

“Classic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Traditional upscale interior, an overly pricey menu, nothing special about the food. It's very acceptable but nothing to write home about.

“Magnificent Dinner/Drinks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

Can't say enough good things about the Grant Grill. Drinks were very well priced given the atmosphere (Beer ~$8, drinks ~12, Premium spirits up to $250/each) and the food was also very reasonable. I tried to keep the bill under control, and ordered the Roast Beef (Sandwich) for dinner, so that I could spend more on trying the variety of specialty drinks they offer. After returning recently from Peru, I started with the South American Christmas Drinks (pisco, tequila, cocoa, and bitters) and couldn't have picked a better launching point. They were out of the cheaper champagne on the menu, and instead gave me Moet all night (shucks, right?). The live jazz band playing at 8pm on Saturdays was just fantastic. This place will make you feel like you're back in the early/mid-1900s (put on some nice clothes, and you'll feel like you're on Mad Men). A great place for a romantic outing, if you want to splurge a bit. We were staying at the US Grant (upstairs), and were thankful that we didn't need to venture very far to have such a great experience.
