“Ice Scream”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

I love their sundae's. They are big, messy, and very decadent. It is open seating so weekends can be busy. They have some tables outside where you can people watch. They have public bathrooms so it can be a wait when the place is busy.

“Great old world charm with yummy icecream”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013 via mobile

Just looking from.the outside at night, you would be forgiven if you thought it was a movie cinema. Onve you walk in, its old fashioned fit out just charms you.

Great Service
The ice-cream is creamy.
The staff look awesome in their old fashioned uniform and exquisite old world friendly service.

Jaw dropping
While the displays of fudge, toffee and other delights are fabulous, the price (once you return your jaw off the floor) is extremely over priced.

“How can this be so good?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013 via mobile

Yes, it's decadent and overpriced - but the flavor is unmatched. Every trip to California must include these guys.

“Feels like a traditional ice cream sundae parlour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

Wandering around San Diego and just had to try a sundae at Ghiradelli's. i opted for the mint sundae.

It comes loaded with hot chocolate fudge in a tall glass. It's a pretty impressive sundae!

“Takes you back to being a kid”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

Done up in a very cool 60's retro vibe. A very very wide selection of chocolates with a free sample being passed out to all customers who walked in. Have always loved the chocolate ,was the first time I was having the ice cream. They had run out of chocolate chip cookie dough(was 10:30 pm) so had the caramel in the chocolate dipped cone and wasn't disappointed at all. It was superb. Went back the next day for the chocolate chip cookie dough and was glad I did. Think I need to start working out a bit more for the times I'm going to go back to this place.
