“Fun spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

Bright dining areas, loud 50's and 60's music. Super waiters and waitresses! TV screens playing clips from all the old black and white TV shows we boomers remember. Huge amounts of food. Great place for kids birthday parties. Separate gaming room. Sing along to all your old favorite songs!

“Great fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

We happened by this diner by accident while driving through Liberty Station and saw all the people. We figured it must be a fun play to eat and we were pleasantly surprised and very happy with the great service and shows we got during our meal. The food was tasty but the alcoholic drinks were not so good. The employees seem so happy which makes the experience better. The staff perform for the guest during the meals. So fun. Texted while in the diner to friends and several already plan to visit on their next trip to San Diego.

“Always fun and great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

After getting restationed in the military, you always have to ask around and find what's good. After about 50 different people telling us about this place, we gave it a try! We were definitely not expecting what we found!
This place is one of my absolute favorite places around. We bring all family members and friends here.
It is loud, but it comes with the territory. It's not over loud though, we can definitely carry a conversation, we just have to raise our voice a little louder than normal.
We love all the different themed rooms, and have actually been able to eat in all of them now.
The food is very good. We are from the south, and I pleasantly surprised to see decently priced down home cooking food here in San Diego in such a hoppin' place as this. Pork Chops and applesauce is my favorite.
BRING YOUR CAMERA!
The connected game room is always a great way to spend time while you wait.
I do wish that they took reservations for when we have a large crowd, but I do understand partially why they don't since they are always busy for dinner.
You can get the same experience if you come for lunch, but it will be much less crowded and the wait will be small if there is one at all.
Another tip, the milk shakes are amazing here! BUT, they are huge, order a kids size one. I can never finish an adult size one.

“Great atmosphere but only OK food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014 via mobile

What an amazing place to eat. Surrounded by memorabilia and fun wait staff the thing that let's this place down was average food. A very interesting range of burgers and milk shakes. Be warned milkshakes look big but are medium sized ( compared to other USA outlets ) BUT huge on cream...suggest you request no or little cream. Tried the gingerbread milkshake and was amazed by the great flavour.
The music, posters, cars etc make this place cool for tourists.

“Fun, Friendly Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

After driving around for hours trying to decide what to eat, my Wife and I decided to stop in at the Corevette Diner. We were happy that we did! Though we didn't have any kids with us, the kid in us shined through.

The wait staff was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and very entertaining. Was the food the best that I've ever had? Absolutely not. But, I wouldn't have expected it to. Being a themed restaurant, I expected somewhat mediocre food, but was surprised to find everything above average. Certainly not gourmet dining, but still pretty good!

All in all, we were very pleased with the experience!
