It's a love/hate relationship here, and if you're a vegetarian, then you already have made up your mind. Until you try the Beet terrine..deliciously sweet beets, with layers of spinach and goat cheese and frisee salad. Pair this with a carnitas torta and share with someone and you will have gone to hog heaven. Fresh baked bread that houses perfectly cooked carnitas and fresh guacamole and tomatoes made for a delightful lunch. Our foodie snobs LOVED the place. Short line at 2:30 (I hate it when my favorite place is now a national celebrity), with friendly service and happy smiles all around from diners and servers. Don't try to make too many comparisons - just enjoy it with the great San Diego sunshine, and you'll realize you want to try a different item each time (like the Triple Threat or the Steak Sandwich)
