We had a great Sunday lunch at The Range which is mostly a twenty-something hangout with big TV screens carrying the football/soccer/tennis games of the moment. The menu is very original for what is essentially a burger and sandwich place. The burgers are huge and well prepared with some great extras. Our party had the brussels sprouts and fried chickpea appetizers (yeah, really) and they were as good as they were unusual. The burgers come with sweet potato fries or salad. Both are outstanding.
Lots of beers to choose from and an okay wine list also. This is a party palace, so go with the acceptance that it will be a bit raucous and noisy, but it's all part of the fun. Say hello to the savvy and sassy bartender Jessica who has an encyclopedic knowledge of the beers on offer.
