Enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott over the 4th of July weekend. The rooms, although not overtly large, are well maintained and spacious enough for the time actually spent in the room. The restaurant/bar served decent meals and there is also a market that is available 24hrs. a day. The property does charge for parking, but there is plenty of street parking available in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. Location is key to this property. It is blocks away from Old Town San Diego and numerous restaurants and shops. You are also in walking distance of the Old Town trolley station which can get you to downtown very quickly. The only complaint was that the spa was not working, but this was a minor inconvenience. Would look to stay at this property the next time we are in the area.
