“Out of this world beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Get there early, take your camera, snacks and water and plan to hike through this wonderful reserve right on the Pacific. So much to see. Multiple trails to explore. Can't wait to get back there to hike it again.

“A best kept secret in San Diego”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Enjoy hiking in the coastal San Diego area near Del Mar. Take some good walking shoes and comfortable clothes and head for Torrey Pines State Park. When you arrive, pay the ranger at the entrance and then decide how difficult you would like your hike to be. A good hike is to park your car at the parking lot near the ranger entrance booth and hike up the hill to the beginning of the trails. If you want an easier excursion, drive your car to the top of the hill and park near the ranger station and small visitor's center. This is where most of the trails begin, and where you head for the cliff top trails with awesome views of the ocean and San Diego coastline. You can make this a couple of hours or an all day excursion.
