“Great history present”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

This is a slice of history that is little known. It is a great presentation with interactive holograms. That makes it great for children. The guides are kind and open to small kids and their questions. At the end the kids can pan for gold. We enjoyed it and the kids were entertained.

“Interactive, informative, and inspirational”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

We had two hours before catching our flight back home, so we decided to go to Mormon Battalion based on the positive feedback on Tripadvisor.

It was a very fun experience! Although it is a bit cheesy as another reviewer mentioned, and it is like a Disney ride, it is for everyone aged 1 - 100! The ending of the tour is inspirational too.

The complimentary family picture was a pleasant surprise. I am so glad that we have a beautiful family picture, in both digital and print, to end our vacation.

The sister missionaries are very friendly too.

We wish we saw a donation box on our way out, sincerely!

“So much fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

We did not realize there was so much history. It was a great interactive presentation about the mormon trek. My sons enjoyed and learned quite a bit. They panned for gold and learned how to make bricks. A must see.

“Two Good Ideas in Old Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014 via mobile

Visiting Old Town is a pleasant way to spend an evening. While in Old Town you should do two things:1) Visit the Mormon Battalion site. The tour is about 30 minutes and is simple and friendly. It is a good interactive tour which will keep the kids engaged. Yes there is reference to the Mormons but it is not overbearing. The kids will have fun panning for gold at the end of the trip. I was able to find my great great grandfather on their records. 2) Walk across the street and down the hill to find the lady who is making fresh hot torillas for 50 cents. Yum.
