“Tropical Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

This resort is amazing. The service was very friendly, the landscaping is very lush, the rooms are comfortable and the location is very close to Sea World. This was our first visit to the Paradiseresort and we are looking to coming back with our kids for Spring Break.

By far the worst atmosphere we have ever stayed in. Rooms smelled, there were bugs crawling around, staff was horrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not worth the price at all, could have stayed at the motel 6 and received better service.

We stayed at Paradise Point 12/1 - 12/4 for my sister's wedding. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We were in a recently updated room (224) which was very nice and large. We even had our own private patio area. All of the rooms seemed to be layed out differently, ours being the largest I saw in the same booking class. It was a great location on the bay and close to many things. The only complaint I can make is the room heater. While the temperature was warm during the day, the evenings were cold. The heater in the room did not have a temperature gage. So when it was on, it was on. At night when I turned it on I'd wake up in the night sweating. If I left it off it was too cold. All and all this was a small thing. Overall beautiful property, friendly and accomodating staff and a good value for San Diego.

Very relaxing resort. Was greeted by staff. Enjoyed the lush green environment and tropical feeling it brought. They had fire pits at the pools during the night which made it nice and enjoyable. The resort is within 10 minutes of everything. I would defintly stay again.

Very impressed with this resort. The location is fabulous. The restaurants are great, especially baleen and the staff is very friendly. There is so much to do in San Diego and to top it off they have so much stuff to do a the resort itself.

They offer surfing lessons, you can go for runs along the perimeter of the property and outside if you like, they have water taxis that take you from the hotel to sea world, you can play golf around the property and the list just goes on.

The rooms are really nice and comfortable, the only thing i was disappointed about was the bathtub...i mean for a room this nice and a huge bathroom you cannot have a tiny bath tub ..thats just me...i like big bath tubs ;-)

Anyways if you are in San Diego for a few days with your family (especially one with kinds (young or older)) this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: if you got the a lot of GGGsss go for the bigger suites

We had a nice bungalow room on the lagoon, seeing the ducks was fun. We jogged around the property in the morning, quite a workout on the sandy parts! Overall clean and well-maintained. SUPER nice staff with genuine good service. I would go back
