We went on a very bad day. It was so foggy that we can't see anything, and the tide pool were not revealed. We pretty much didn't get to see anything. However, the fog did cleared out for a short period when we were at the Cabrillo National Monument. We did get to peek the great panoramic view of the San Diego. It was breath taking.
Before you go, just make sure it's not foggy and the sea level is going to be low enough to reveal the tide pool, and you should be able to enjoy the trip!
