“Great play in a great space”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

I saw the world premiere of the play "the Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder". A fantastic play in a fantastic space! It was a little pricey, but worth it. Not to mention all the free things you can do before the play in Balboa Park. Best day of the vacation. Tip- If you come early around 5 o'clock, you can get great parking. Also there are very cheap eats at the expensive Prada restaurant. It's a great restaurant with a great happy hour from 4 to 6.

The Old Globe in Balboa Park is the premire venue for SanDiego theater and they have multiple options each night from a larger theater to one in the round. There is even a light snack venue outside. Great value for thequaity of the performances.

“Perfect venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

There isn't a bad seat in the house...and the sound is perfect. The historic significance of the property adds to the overall experience, if you have the opportunity don't miss it. A Beautiful evening.

“Wonderful acting/singing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

My wife, our 22 yr old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the production and theater. Top quality acting and singing and even our daughter (who doesn't enjoy musicals) was thrilled by the show.
