The restaurant didn't open until 12 pm so we walked a couple blocks to the ocean and arrived back at the restaurant @ 1 pm. We were able to get a table right away , probably because it was a Wednesday. The place has a bar atmosphere, but the food isn't your typical bar food. We started the meal with an ice cold draft beer and an order of fresh spring rolls. Two large rolls arrived loaded with crisp veggies, shrimp and pork for $4.25. For my entree, I had char-grilled shrimp over vermicelli noodles, accompanying fresh veggies, and an egg roll. My shrimp were cooked perfectly ( I detest rubbery shrimp) and I think I had 7 large ones. The egg roll was ok. For $7.95, it was a tasty lunch. My husband had the stir fried egg noodles with beef and veggies which he said was ok. His was also $7.95. Next time, we want to try their crispy fried fish which was very popular. The service was outstanding. Our glasses were kept filled, dishes were removed promptly, and the staff was very friendly.
