The best place to taste cajun seafood in San Diego. I taste a tomato soup and pasta cajun and both of them were deliciuos. Besides me, people took funny srimps, funny, because they have their particular and funny way to serve the,. Yuuuuumiiiiiiii

“Yummy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Don't worry about etiquete! Enjoy, make a mess to the delicious arrays of seafood. It's fun and best of all...spice it the way you want it and of course, YUMMY! Don't forget to put on your bib!

“Fun, messy, delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

Don't wear a good shirt to this place! Boiled crab & shrimp in your choice of sauce (you pick flavor & heat factor, cajun was fabulous) Nothing fancy but absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices considering the Gaslamp location. Gets crowded & the service was average at best, but if you enjoy crab & seafood and you don't mind eating with your hands & licking your fingers then this is a great choice.

“Fun atmosphere and great food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

Went to the downtown location based on a Tripadvisor review. Called ahead and was given good parking options for a Friday night...VERY busy GasLamp District. Service was good and food was fabulous. Had a cajun shrimp fettucine and partner had the shrimp scampi. Large, delicious portions. Also had the great gumbo although could have been a bit spicier for me...like things more spicy than most folks. Overall fun place...glad we went.

“Fine basic Lousianna seafood boils”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2012

No frills, not much atmousphear. But the servers were attentive and friendly, offering lots of information and advice. My husband got a massive!!! fried sampler appetizer. Was OK. I got clams in garlic butter. They were tasty and the sauce was great to dip the bread in. Nice happy hour specials, drinks and food.
